What do I have to do to get my Oklahoma license reinstated after losing it for a DUI?

Question:

I was arrested for a DUI in Oklahoma and lost my license. My revocation period is up and I want to get it reinstated. What do I need to do to get my driver license reinstated?

Answer:

You will need to do four things.

1) Get a Drug & Alcohol Assessment (ADSAC)
2) Complete a DUI School
3) Attend a Victim Impact Panel
4) Pay your Reinstatement Fee

“The Fine Print” – In certain situations, an Ignition Interlock Device (IID), aka a blow-n-go as my clients call them, is required to be installed before having your license reinstated. This depends on the number of prior suspensions, the date of those suspensions, the date of your most recent arrest, your blood/breath alcohol content from the most recent arrest, and whether you agreed to take the test or if you refused. Please call for a free consultation to find out how it applies to you.
